How to perform

Lower into a split stance, back knee hovering above the ground, front thigh parallel. Explosively jump upward, driving through your front heel and back foot. Switch legs mid-air, landing softly with bent knees to absorb impact. Immediately descend into the next rep, alternating sides. Maintain a braced core and upright torso.

Tips

Focus on powerfully driving through your front heel to generate upward momentum and maximize jump height. Keep your chest lifted and shoulders engaged to maintain balance and prevent leaning forward during the jump. Strive for a quick and decisive leg switch mid-air to minimize disruption of your momentum and maintain rhythm. Cushion the landing by bending your knees deeply, absorbing the impact and protecting your joints. Engage your core muscles consistently throughout the exercise to stabilize your torso and improve power transfer. Maintain a fixed gaze forward to help with balance and coordination during the jump and landing.
