Raise arms to shoulder height, palms down. Swing arms forward, crossing over your chest with a slight elbow bend. Reverse the motion, supinating palms upward. Alternate the arm crossing with each repetition.
Engage your core muscles throughout the exercise to stabilize your torso and prevent lower back strain, which will help maintain proper form. Maintain a smooth, flowing motion throughout the exercise, avoiding any sudden jerks or pauses that could disrupt the rhythm and reduce effectiveness. Ensure you alternate which arm is on top during each crossing motion to promote balanced muscle engagement and prevent imbalances. Consciously relax your shoulders, drawing them down away from your ears, to prevent tension and improve the range of motion. Finish each repetition with palms facing upward, fully extending your arms to maximize the stretch and engagement of your muscles.
