Muscle outlines from Body Muscles by Ivan Vulović, Apache 2.0 — regrouped and recoloured for Muscle Train.
Hinge at the hips, kettlebells between legs, arms relaxed. Explosively drive hips forward, extending knees and body. Pull elbows tight as bells rise past your waist. Rotate hands to catch the bells in a rack position on your forearms near your chest. Brace your core and glutes, standing tall. Lower the bells between your legs with a controlled hip hinge.
To maximize power and prevent injury, initiate the movement by driving your hips forcefully forward, rather than relying on arm strength to lift the kettlebells. Maintain a tight connection between your body and the kettlebells throughout the exercise, keeping them close to your legs to minimize momentum and maximize stability. Actively tuck your elbows in towards your sides during the upward phase to engage your lats and protect your shoulder joints. Continuously brace your core muscles throughout the entire movement to stabilize your spine and transfer power efficiently. When catching the kettlebells in the rack position, ensure your wrists are straight to prevent strain and maintain proper alignment.
