Tips

To protect your shoulders, keep your arms locked overhead throughout the entire movement, focusing on engaging your shoulder muscles to maintain stability. Maintain a tall torso with your ribs pulled down to prevent rounding and protect your lower back, actively engaging your core to support your spine. Ensure your knees track directly over your toes during the descent to promote proper alignment and reduce the risk of injury. Drive powerfully through your heels as you extend back up to fully engage your glutes and hamstrings. Finally, keep your core tight and maintain a neutral spine throughout the exercise to stabilize your body and maximize the effectiveness of the movement.
