Tips

Focus on a strictly vertical bar path to ensure you're targeting your shoulders effectively and minimizing stress on your wrists. Keep your elbows directly beneath the bar throughout the movement to promote proper shoulder engagement and prevent injury. Engage your core muscles and maintain a neutral spine throughout the exercise to avoid arching your back and protect your lower back. Drive through your heels to create a stable base and generate power for the press. Briefly shrug your shoulders at the top of the movement to fully contract your shoulder muscles and maximize the exercise's benefits.
