Tips

To maximize glute engagement, initiate the movement by driving your hips back as you bend your leading knee, focusing on feeling the stretch in your glutes. Maintain an upright chest throughout the exercise to prevent leaning forward and engaging your lower back. Engage your core muscles tightly to stabilize your torso and prevent excessive swaying during the lateral movements. Strive for a smooth, flowing motion between sides, avoiding jerky or abrupt transitions to ensure consistent muscle activation. Ensure your knees track directly over your toes during each dip to maintain proper alignment and prevent knee strain.
