Secondary: Rectus Abdominis, Erector Spinae

Tips

Keep your chest lifted and shoulders pulled back to engage your core and maintain a stable upper body throughout the movement. Actively brace your core muscles as if preparing for a light punch to help stabilize your spine and prevent lower back strain. Ensure your knees track directly over your toes during the squat to promote proper alignment and reduce stress on your joints. Focus on pressing through your heels to activate your glutes and hamstrings, avoiding shifting your weight forward onto your toes. Initiate the movement by pushing your hips back as if sitting into a chair, which will help you engage the correct muscles and maintain proper form.
