Tips

To ensure a secure grip, use a firm overhand grip on the plate's rim, ensuring your hands are stable throughout the exercise. Focus on maintaining a tall posture by actively engaging your glutes and keeping your chest lifted to prevent rounding of the back. Avoid leaning to one side by driving through your hips and keeping your weight centered over your feet. Actively brace your core muscles as if preparing for a punch to stabilize your spine and prevent unwanted movement. Keep your shoulders level and avoid twisting your torso, which can compromise balance and increase the risk of injury. Take small, controlled heel-toe steps to maintain stability and prevent overextension or strain on your lower back.
