How to perform

Hold the sandbag tight against your chest. Brace your core and walk forward with short, controlled steps, maintaining a rigid, upright torso.

Muscles Worked

Erector Spinae
Secondary: Glute Max, Vastus Lateralis, Upper Traps

Tips

Focus on squeezing the sandbag firmly against your chest and ribs to engage your upper body and prevent it from shifting during the exercise. Maintain a tall, rigid posture by engaging your glutes and keeping your shoulders pulled back and down, avoiding any excessive arching or rounding of your spine. Take short, quick steps to increase the intensity and challenge your stability, ensuring each step is deliberate and controlled. Actively depress your ribs and brace your core throughout the movement to stabilize your spine and prevent unwanted swaying or leaning.
