How to perform

Suspend yourself from a vertical object using a wide grip, pulling your body into a completely horizontal line while tucking one knee inward and extending the opposite leg straight. Generate powerful counter-tension by pulling aggressively with your top arm to firmly depress the shoulder blade while simultaneously pushing forcefully into the anchor with your lower arm. Lock down your abdominal wall with maximum intensity to stabilize your pelvis, ensuring your lower back remains neutral and entirely free of arching. Initiate the execution from a vertical overhead position—an inverted human flag—if you experience difficulty lifting your hips directly up into the horizontal plane. Maintain a precise hand spacing that keeps the angle between your arms between ninety and one hundred degrees, avoiding an excessively wide or narrow placement that increases mechanical difficulty.
