How to perform

Grab a barbell with an overhand grip and hold firmly in front of your thighs with arms fully extended. With your feet hip-width apart and your knees slightly bent, raise one foot slightly off the floor and hold it behind you. Bend at your hips and lower your torso and the barbell towards the floor letting arms hang in front of your body. Pause, then raise your torso and the barbell back to the starting position without letting lifted foot touch the floor.

Tips

Keep your spine flat and avoid rounding your back. Move slowly and with control, not explosively. Set up properly by shifting your center of gravity over the working leg. Hold the barbell directly in front of the working leg for balance.
