How to perform

Set the barbell at collarbone level and stand with an overhand grip slightly wider than shoulder-width. Unrack the weight by engaging your glutes and pushing through your legs, maintaining a straight back and tucked elbows. Press the bar upwards in a vertical line, fully extending your elbows, and then slowly return to the starting position.

Muscles Worked

Secondary: Side Delt, Clavicular head, Abdominal, Back

Tips

Set the bar at a comfortable height to avoid overextending your elbows during unracking. Lower the bar until your elbows drop slightly below shoulder level for optimal delt activation. Keep your hand placement just outside shoulder width to protect your joints. Ensure a full range of motion throughout the exercise.
