How to perform

Stand with feet hip-width apart, chest lifted, core braced, and arms relaxed or bent at 90 degrees. Lift one knee towards your chest, driving it upward until your thigh is roughly parallel to the floor. Maintain a vertical torso; avoid leaning back. Lower your foot and repeat on the opposite side, transitioning smoothly. Swing arms in opposition to your knees. Find a steady, purposeful walking tempo (one step per second). Focus on upright posture, avoiding backward lean. Lift knees with intent – aim for at least 45 degrees from vertical. Land softly on the ball of your foot. Breathe rhythmically: inhale for two steps, exhale for two steps.
