Engage your core for stability. Exhale and rotate your shoulder to pull the handle outward, keeping your elbow fixed. Pause when your forearm is perpendicular to your body. Inhale as you slowly return to the starting position. Alternate sides after each set.
To maintain proper form, focus on keeping your elbow pressed firmly against your side throughout the entire movement, preventing any arm sway or compensation. Initiate the movement with a controlled rotation from your shoulder joint, avoiding any twisting from your torso or lower back. Aim to position your forearm parallel to the ground at the peak of the exercise, ensuring a full range of motion and targeted muscle engagement. Consciously avoid shrugging your shoulders upward during the pull, as this can indicate improper form or shoulder strain. Actively tighten your core muscles throughout the exercise to stabilize your torso and enhance the effectiveness of the movement.
