Engage your core, keep elbows tucked. Exhale and curl the rope towards your shoulders, flexing your elbows. Squeeze biceps at the top, slightly flaring the rope ends. Inhale as you slowly lower the rope back to the starting position, maintaining a slight bend in your elbows.
To maintain proper form, focus on keeping your elbows pinned to your sides throughout the entire movement, preventing any shoulder involvement and isolating the biceps. Really squeeze your biceps hard at the peak of the curl to maximize muscle contraction and ensure you're fully engaging the targeted muscles. Control the descent of the rope slowly and deliberately, resisting the urge to let gravity take over, which helps build strength and prevents injury. Maintain a neutral grip on the rope throughout the exercise, avoiding excessive wrist rotation to protect your joints and ensure consistent tension. Avoid using any body swing to generate momentum; focus solely on using your biceps to lift and lower the rope, ensuring a controlled and effective workout.
