How to perform

Set the machine pad just above your Achilles tendon and begin with a lighter weight to familiarize yourself with the motion. Secure your thighs on the pad, grip the handles, and position your legs against the lower pad. Curl the weight upwards by engaging your hamstring, lifting your heel until it’s above your knee and feeling a strong contraction.

Muscles Worked

Hamstrings
Secondary: Gastrocnemius, Glutes

Tips

Utilize a complete range of motion, ensuring your knee remains stable throughout the exercise. Maintain balance by gripping the machine’s handles or a support when using heavier loads. Execute movements deliberately to sustain continuous tension in the hamstrings. Avoid leaning forward or backward during the curl.
