Keep upper arms stationary. Extend forearms backward, straightening elbows and squeezing triceps at full extension. Slowly bend elbows to return to start, maintaining control.
To ensure proper form, focus on keeping your upper arms stable and parallel to the floor throughout the exercise, preventing any rocking or swaying. At the top of the movement, actively squeeze your triceps muscles to maximize muscle engagement and feel the contraction. Control the return to the starting position by resisting the weight, preventing momentum and ensuring a full range of motion. Maintain a straight back and core engagement to stabilize your body and avoid lower back strain. Tuck your elbows close to your body to isolate the triceps and prevent shoulder involvement.
