Engage core and glutes, drawing belly button toward spine. Lift arms, chest, and legs 5-6 inches, squeezing your posterior chain at the top. Hold for 2 seconds, then slowly lower with control, maintaining a neutral spine.
Maintain a neutral neck position throughout the exercise to avoid strain and ensure proper spinal alignment. Squeeze your glutes firmly at the peak of the movement to maximize posterior chain activation and stability. Ensure the resistance band remains taut throughout the exercise, as slack will reduce the challenge and effectiveness. Keep your core consistently engaged to stabilize your spine and prevent lower back arching. Focus on lifting with your back muscles, avoiding momentum to ensure controlled movement and target the intended muscles. Keep your eyes focused on the floor to help maintain a neutral spine and prevent neck strain.
