Muscles Worked

Biceps FemorisRectus Abdominis
Secondary: Erector Spinae, Obliques (4, 10): External Obliques

Tips

Focus on driving powerfully through your heel to initiate the hip lift and maximize glute activation, ensuring a strong base for the movement. Maintain a stable ribcage by drawing your ribs down and inwards to prevent excessive arching in your lower back. Keep your chin tucked towards your chest to protect your neck and maintain a neutral spine alignment throughout the exercise. Squeeze your glutes forcefully at the top of the movement to fully engage the muscles and enhance the effectiveness of the hip extension. Actively focus on keeping your hips level throughout the entire range of motion to avoid imbalances and ensure proper form.
