Tips

To maximize oblique engagement, initiate the movement by consciously drawing your obliques towards each other as you begin the rotation. Focus on keeping your hips stable throughout the exercise to prevent unwanted rocking or shifting, which would reduce the effectiveness of the twist. Maintain a straight line from your head to your heels while on the ball to ensure proper spinal alignment and prevent lower back strain. Control the rotation throughout the entire range of motion, avoiding jerky movements to protect your spine and fully engage your core muscles. Remember to brace your core consistently throughout the exercise to maintain stability and protect your lower back.
