Tips

Focus on drawing your ribs down towards your hips to stabilize your torso and prevent overarching. Squeeze your glutes firmly throughout the exercise to maintain pelvic stability and power the leg abduction. Imagine pushing the floor away with your feet to activate your legs and core, ensuring a strong and controlled movement. Actively prevent your hips from rotating up or down by engaging your core and glutes, keeping the pelvis level throughout the entire range of motion. Control the return of your legs to the starting position, resisting the urge to let them snap back, which will maximize muscle engagement and prevent injury.
