How to perform

Start in a wide-hand plank (wider than shoulder-width). Maintain a straight line from head to heels, engaging your core and glutes. Lower your chest towards the floor, bending elbows to about 90 degrees. Push through your palms to return to the starting position. Repeat.

Tips

Wider hand placement targets the chest. Keep a straight line from head to heels to protect your lower back. Engage your core for stability. Control the descent; avoid touching the ground. Inhale on the lower, exhale on the push-up. Modify on your knees if needed.
