Secondary: Transverse Abdominis, External Obliques, Calves (2, 10): Gastrocnemius

Tips

To properly hinge at the hips, imagine pushing your hips backward as if closing a door behind you, which will help protect your lower back. Maintain a flat back throughout the movement by engaging your core and avoiding rounding or arching. Keep your core braced as if preparing for a punch to ensure spinal stability and prevent lower back discomfort. Focus your eyes on a fixed point ahead to help maintain balance and prevent swaying during the exercise. Lower your body with control, resisting the urge to drop quickly, to maximize hamstring engagement and minimize the risk of injury.
