Tips

Actively engage your core muscles throughout the exercise to stabilize your spine and power the movement, ensuring a controlled and efficient pull. Keep your arms relatively straight, allowing the rotation to come primarily from your torso, rather than bending at the elbows. Initiate the movement by rotating your hips and torso, feeling the stretch in your obliques as you pull the cable diagonally. Focus on maintaining a neutral spine throughout the exercise to prevent lower back strain and maximize oblique engagement. At the end of the pull, consciously squeeze your obliques to maximize muscle activation and feel the contraction.
