Tips

Brace your core muscles firmly throughout the entire movement to stabilize your spine and transfer power effectively. As you twist, pivot your feet in the direction of the rotation to allow for a full range of motion and prevent strain. Initiate the chopping motion by driving through your hips, not just your arms, to maximize power and engage your lower body. Keep your arms extended throughout the exercise, maintaining a consistent lever arm for the dumbbell. Maintain a neutral spine throughout the exercise, avoiding rounding or arching your back to protect your lower back and ensure proper form.
