Brace core, maintain neutral spine. Rotate hips and torso to pull band diagonally upward. Keep arms straight, gaze following hands. Pivot back foot to aid rotation, reaching hands to opposite shoulder level. Control the return, resisting the band.
To maximize rotational power, initiate the movement from your hips, driving the rotation rather than pulling with your arms. Maintain a braced core throughout the exercise to stabilize your spine and prevent lower back strain, focusing on drawing your navel towards your spine. Keep your arms straight throughout the movement, acting as levers to transfer power from your core and hips to the band. Allow your back foot to pivot on the ball to enhance rotation and increase the range of motion. Keep your gaze focused on your hands as they move to help coordinate the movement and maintain proper form. Control the return to the starting position by resisting the band's pull, engaging your muscles to prevent momentum and ensure a complete workout.
