Muscles Worked

Anterior DeltsChest (510): Upper Chest
Secondary: Rectus Abdominis, Glute Max, External Obliques, Hamstrings

Tips

Brace your core muscles throughout the entire exercise to stabilize your torso and protect your lower back. Keep your elbows tucked slightly towards your body to target the inner chest muscles and prevent shoulder strain. Focus on pressing through your chest muscles to initiate the upward movement, rather than relying on your arms. Maintain your hips elevated throughout the exercise to ensure proper back support and prevent excessive arching. Plant your feet firmly on the floor to provide a stable base and maximize power transfer during the press.
