How to perform

Shift weight, explosively hop laterally over the line. Swing arms for momentum. Land softly on the opposite side, bending knees and hips to absorb impact. Keep knees aligned with toes, avoid collapsing inward. Immediately rebound back over the line, maintaining quick ground contact.

Tips

To maximize power, explode upwards and outwards from your balls of feet, driving through your glutes and hamstrings to propel yourself laterally. Focus on landing softly and in a controlled manner, bending at your knees and hips to absorb the impact and protect your joints. Ensure your knees consistently track directly over your toes during the hop to maintain balance and prevent ankle strain. Engage your core muscles throughout the entire movement, creating stability and transferring power efficiently. Coordinate your arm swing by moving them opposite to your legs, using the momentum to enhance your jump height and overall rhythm.
