How to perform

Flex your bicep to curl your hand toward your shoulder, keeping your elbow stable. Squeeze at the top, pause, then slowly extend your arm, resisting the band as you lower. Switch sides after completing your reps.

Muscles Worked

Biceps
Secondary: Flexors, Transverse Abdominis

Tips

Maintain a stable elbow position throughout the movement to isolate the bicep and prevent unwanted strain. At the peak of the curl, consciously squeeze your bicep muscle to maximize contraction and engagement. Control the lowering phase by resisting the band's pull, ensuring a slow and deliberate descent to build strength and muscle endurance. Ensure a secure grip on the band to maintain proper form and prevent slippage during the exercise. Engage your core muscles to stabilize your body and prevent excessive movement or swaying, which can compromise the effectiveness of the bicep curl.
