Tips

Focus on squeezing your chest muscles intensely at the peak of the extension to maximize muscle activation and ensure proper form. Position your elbows at a 45-degree angle during the movement to target the chest muscles effectively and minimize stress on your shoulder joints. Keep your core engaged and ribs down throughout the exercise to stabilize your torso and prevent lower back arching, which will help maintain proper posture and transfer power efficiently. Actively press forward through the mid-chest during the extension phase, visualizing pushing your hands together to fully engage the pectoral muscles and achieve a greater range of motion.
