Exhale, bend your knee to curl your heel toward your glutes, squeezing your hamstrings. Pause briefly. Inhale, slowly extend your leg back to the starting position, controlling the band. Keep hips stable and avoid arching your back. Switch legs after completing your reps.
Focus on squeezing your hamstrings forcefully at the top of the movement to maximize muscle engagement and ensure proper activation. Control the return to the starting position by resisting the band's pull, preventing momentum and maintaining constant tension on the hamstrings. Maintain a stable pelvic position throughout the exercise by engaging your glutes and avoiding any rocking or shifting of your hips. Ensure your knee tracks directly over your toes during the movement to prevent unnecessary stress on your joints and maintain proper alignment. Engage your core muscles to stabilize your torso and prevent excessive arching or rounding of your back, which can compromise form and increase injury risk. Aim to bring your heel as close to your glutes as possible while maintaining proper form and avoiding any discomfort or pain.
