Swing rope overhead, rotating wrists. Hop on the ball of one foot as the rope descends. Jump 1-2 inches, landing softly with a slight knee bend. Maintain a tight core and upright posture. Continue rhythmic hops, switching legs periodically.
To maintain balance and prevent excessive swaying, focus on staying tall and stable throughout the exercise, engaging your glutes and leg muscles. Actively brace your core to stabilize your torso and prevent lower back strain, which will improve power transfer and protect your spine. When landing, absorb the impact by bending your knees and ankles, ensuring a soft landing to minimize stress on your joints. The rope's movement should be primarily driven by your wrists, keeping your arms relaxed to avoid unnecessary tension and fatigue. Avoid letting your knee pass over your toes during the hop to protect your knee joint and maintain proper alignment. Coordinate your hops with the rope's rhythm to create a smooth, consistent flow and maximize the effectiveness of the workout.
