Tips

To ensure proper form, focus on keeping your elbows high and wide throughout the movement, preventing them from dropping or coming too close to your body, which can reduce muscle activation and increase risk of injury. Actively squeeze your shoulder blades together at the top of the movement to maximize back muscle engagement and promote good posture. Maintain a rigid, plank-like body position throughout the exercise, preventing any rotation or excessive movement in your torso, which would compromise the targeted muscle activation. Be mindful of your hips, avoiding any sagging or tilting, as this indicates a lack of core stability and can lead to lower back discomfort.
