Tips

To maximize chest activation, flare your elbows out to the sides during the lowering phase, creating a wider arc of motion. Focus on squeezing your upper chest muscles intensely as you press the dumbbells upwards, visualizing the contraction to enhance muscle engagement. Control the descent of the dumbbells throughout the entire range of motion, resisting gravity to build strength and stability. Ensure your feet are planted firmly on the ground, providing a stable base for the exercise and preventing unwanted movement. Gently retract your shoulder blades towards each other throughout the exercise to create a solid upper back foundation and protect your shoulder joints.
