How to perform

Engage your core and keep your chest lifted. Rotate your torso to one side, lowering the kettlebell towards the floor. Return to center, then rotate to the opposite side, alternating sides with control. Maintain a straight back throughout.

Tips

To maximize the effectiveness of this exercise, initiate the twisting motion from your obliques, rather than just rotating your arms. Keep your shoulders level and avoid letting them hunch or roll upwards during the movement, which can reduce core engagement. Brace your core muscles tightly throughout the entire exercise to stabilize your spine and prevent lower back strain. Resist the urge to swing your arms for momentum; focus on controlled rotation. Finally, keep your gaze following your hands as they move to help maintain balance and proper spinal alignment.
