Tips

To maximize the twist, initiate the movement from your core, not just your shoulders, which will help engage your obliques more effectively. Keep your gaze focused on the plate as you rotate, which helps maintain balance and ensures you're twisting through the full range of motion. Visualize and maintain a 'V' shape with your body throughout the exercise, ensuring your arms and torso form a clear angle. Actively engage your abdominal muscles to stabilize your spine and control the movement, preventing lower back strain. Control the speed of the rotation throughout the entire exercise, avoiding jerky movements to protect your joints and maximize muscle engagement.
