Brace your core, keep back straight. Exhale and press handles forward, extending elbows. Squeeze triceps at full extension, avoiding elbow lockout. Inhale as you slowly return to start, flexing elbows. Keep elbows close to your body.
To protect your lower back and ensure proper form, maintain a strong connection with the pad throughout the entire exercise. Focus on keeping your elbows tucked in close to your body during the press, as this maximizes triceps engagement and minimizes shoulder involvement. At the bottom of the movement, consciously squeeze your triceps to achieve full muscle contraction and enhance the effectiveness of the exercise. Control the return phase by resisting the weight as you slowly bring the handles back to the starting position, preventing momentum from taking over. Avoid locking your elbows at the top of the movement to prevent joint stress and maintain tension on the triceps.
