Tips

To ensure proper form, focus on keeping your hips square to the band throughout the exercise, preventing any rotation that could compromise the targeted muscle engagement. Extend your leg straight out to the side, avoiding bending at the knee, which shifts the focus away from the glute muscles and onto the quadriceps. Consciously squeeze your outer hip muscle at the peak of the movement to maximize glute activation and improve mind-muscle connection. Avoid any torso tilt during the exercise; maintain a stable and upright posture to isolate the hip abduction. Control the band's resistance during both the lifting and lowering phases to ensure a smooth, deliberate motion and prevent momentum from taking over.
