How to perform

Adjust the incline bench to a moderate angle, between 30 and 45 degrees. With a dumbbell in each hand, palms inward, position yourself face down, ensuring your feet are firmly planted and your chest is supported. Begin with your arms extended downwards, maintaining a slight bend in your elbows. Press the dumbbells outwards until your arms are horizontal, pausing briefly to contract your shoulder muscles.

Tips

Keep your neck in a natural, aligned position throughout the exercise. Focus on slow, deliberate movements to maximize muscle activation. Eliminate any swinging or jerking; rely on your shoulder strength to perform the lift. Preserve a gentle bend in your elbows to protect the joints. Breathe out as you raise the dumbbells and inhale as you lower them. Begin with a manageable weight to ensure proper form.
