Begin with a barbell at mid-thigh height, facing away from it. Secure your grip with palms down, brace your core, and unrack the weight, establishing a stable stance with your feet hip-width apart and glutes engaged. Curl the barbell upwards by flexing your wrists, hold briefly, and lower with control, allowing it to roll into your fingers.
Choose a weight allowing for at least 10 repetitions while maintaining proper form. Use a lighter bar if the standard barbell feels too heavy. Keep your core and glutes engaged for stability throughout the movement. Perform repetitions slowly and deliberately, squeezing your forearms at the top. Lower the weight under control.
