Secondary: Upper Traps, Flexors

Tips

Focus on keeping your shoulders down and away from your ears throughout the entire movement to prevent upper back strain and maintain proper posture. Engage your elbow muscles to lead the movement, ensuring the motion originates from your upper arms rather than just your shoulders, which promotes balanced muscle activation. Control the lowering phase by resisting the pull of gravity, feeling the work in your muscles and avoiding a rapid descent that could compromise form and reduce effectiveness.
