Find a bench and position yourself with your feet firmly planted and about shoulder-width apart. Secure an EZ-curl bar with an overhand grip, a bit wider than your shoulders, allowing your wrists to extend past your knees. As you lift the bar, focus on flexing your forearms and pausing briefly at the peak of the movement. Lower the weight back down with deliberate control to complete the repetition.
Maintain a stable upper arm position throughout the exercise, preventing any rocking or swinging. Concentrate on the wrist flexion; the movement should originate solely from your forearms. Employ a gradual, measured tempo for both the lifting and lowering phases. Begin with a manageable weight to master the form. Release your breath as you curl the weight upwards and draw it in as you lower it.
